About to ICDSS 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Design and Social Science is an international academic event that focuses on the intersection and integration of design practice and social science theory. It aims to bring together experts, scholars, and industry elites from the global design and sociological communities, as well as related fields, to jointly explore the value and path of design in promoting social progress and humanistic care. The conference centered around in-depth discussions and exchanges on core topics such as social innovation design, sustainable design and green consumption, user experience and social behavior research, public space design and urban governance, design ethics and social responsibility, as well as cultural heritage protection and creative industries. It aimed to establish an international cooperation platform for interdisciplinary dialogue between design studies and social sciences, promote the deep integration of design thinking and social science research methods, and provide academic support and practical references for building an inclusive, harmonious, and sustainable social development pattern.

All full paper submissions to the ICDSS 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of ICDSS 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Contributors are encouraged to submit papers / abstracts to the conference. The organizing committee will select high-quality papers and recommend them to SCI/SSCI journals. For specific matters, please contact the person in charge of the conferrence.
Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to icdss@global-confs.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
