About to ICGP 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Geography and Paleography is an interdisciplinary international academic event aimed at the global academic and industrial communities, dedicated to promoting the deep integration and collaborative innovation of geography research and paleography exploration. This conference focuses on in-depth discussions on core topics such as historical geography and changes in ancient environments, geographic information systems and spatial analysis, geomorphological evolution and natural resource assessment, human geography and regional cultural landscapes, interpretation and evolution of ancient texts, research on unearthed documents and silk, digitization and intelligent recognition of ancient texts, ancient geographic cognition and place name verification. It extensively covers emerging research directions such as artificial intelligence assisted ancient text recognition and automatic interpretation, big language models empowering semantic analysis and knowledge graph construction of ancient documents, remote sensing technology and archaeological geographic information fusion, 3D reconstruction and virtual reality restoration of ancient geographic scenes, and multi-source data-driven historical geographic spatial modeling. The conference aims to build an open, professional, and high-level international chemical exchange platform for scholars from universities, research institutions, and industry technical experts around the world, promoting interdisciplinary cooperation and deep integration of industry, academia, and research. During the conference, multiple sessions will be held, including keynote speeches, thematic discussions, paper presentations, and technical forums. All full paper submissions to the ICGP 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of ICGP 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to icgp@global-confs.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
