About to PUMS 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Public Service, Urban Engineering Management, and Social Sciences will be held in Beijing, China, bringing together experts, scholars, management practitioners, and young scholars from universities, research institutes, and industry institutions around the world to engage in in-depth exchanges and discussions on cutting-edge theories and innovative practices in the fields of public service, urban engineering management, and social sciences. The purpose of this conference is to establish an interdisciplinary and international academic exchange platform, promoting the deep integration and collaborative development of public service optimization, urban engineering management innovation, and social science theoretical research. The conference topics cover public service supply models and equalization, smart government and digital government construction, social security and improvement of livelihood services, urban infrastructure planning and construction management, urban renewal and renovation of old residential areas, urban transportation and municipal pipeline engineering, smart cities and new urbanization, urban resilience construction and disaster prevention and reduction, social governance innovation and grassroots community governance, public policy evaluation and social equity, social organization participation and diversified collaborative governance. During the conference, there will be special invited presentations, sub venue special reports, paper exchanges, and academic discussions, providing a platform for delegates to share research results, explore development trends, and expand opportunities for academic and practical cooperation. Through this conference, we will further promote theoretical innovation and practical exploration in the fields of public services, urban engineering management, and social sciences, and assist in enhancing urban governance capabilities and promoting sustainable social development.

All full paper submissions to the PUMS 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of PUMS 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to pums@global-confs.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
